Understated, for Once: One-Sentence-Blog-Post-Week Challenge

As a tonic for impending blogging burnout, a few of my TWD friends* and I have challenged each other to One-Sentence-Blog-Posts; each of my posts this week will be, well, limited to one sentence, and I'll live my heretofore-unrealized dream to be a Woman of Few Words (or at least a Woman of Run-On Sentences)!

* Bakers who are participating with a "Terse Tuesdays With Dorie" one-sentence post, and/or additional breviloquent offerings during the week:
Di's Kitchen Notebook
Tea and Scones
Tracey's Culinary Adventures
The Tortefeasor
Grandma's Kitchen Table
Pink Stripes
Love Big, Bake Often
bliss: towards a delicious life

I love the picture!
What a great idea. Is it too late for me to officially join in on the condensed blogging fun?

Cool! Thanks for the post. I've added the link. I didn't know it was for the whole week. Can't wait to write my Vegan Tuesday post now. :P

Great idea...and I would have loved to join in, but I already wrote up my verbose brownie button post.

I am so psyched! I am going to link to you this afternoon and then go make my TWD brownie buttons. At least I know the post will be quick to write :)

I'm doing the whole week in one sentence posts. The Whole Week. And, I am blaming you on my blog, oh, I mean I am giving you full credit on my blog today. LOL. Lots of fun you are always!

Great idea! Too bad I already started my TWD post, but I will say that it's shorter than usual. Maybe the dog days of summer inspire brief posts!

Great explanation post--I don't know if I'll do the whole week, but I'm looking forward to reading everyone else's brief comments this week. =)

What an awesome idea! I don't really have much to say about the brownie buttons, so this is perfect.

Oh, the only thing better than a day of one-sentence blogging is a whole week of one-sentence blogging! And this is only the beginning - maybe next week, we ditch semicolons, and the following week, parentheticals. Within a couple of months and some discipline, we'll be down to one subject/one verb posts in no time!

Why do I have a feeling this will be harder than I think? <-- 1 sentence. I'm practicing. HA!

Ooh, I'd like to jump on the bandwagon. That presumes I'll be able to move around enough to actually bake this week, but I'm trying to optimistic.

love it. just wrote one longish rambly fun sentence about these tiny treats. thanks for the inspiration, nancy:)

Of course you could really stretch the spirit of this challenge if you wanted to use paragraph-long Virginia Woolf-style sentences.

If I were to channel my inner Faulkner and use a whole heck of a lot of semicolons, I could write a post of my normal length and STILL keep it in one sentence! :)

What a beautiful photo of your vegie basket. i guess your dog was looking for crumbs, huh? Darn there aren't any crumbs. Not a single one.
Good luck on zipping the old typing fingers.
